We are seeking a skilled part-time/contractual Content Writer with a background in engineering,science and commerce to help create content that adheres to university course requirements. Position Overview: As a Part-Time/ Contractual Content Writer focused on Graduate level & PG level content, you will be responsible for producing educational materials that align with university syllabi. This role involves creating content that supports course objectives, enhances student understanding, and provides practical insights into engineering principles. You will collaborate with educational experts and use your technical knowledge to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Key Responsibilities: Content Development: Write and edit educational content, including lecture notes, study guides and practice problems, based on university syllabi and course objectives. Syllabus Alignment: Review and analyze university syllabi to ensure all content aligns with the prescribed curriculum and learning outcomes. Research: Conduct thorough research to provide accurate and up-to-date information relevant to the university course topics. Content Review: Edit and proof read content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to academic and institutional guidelines. Feedback Incorporation: Implement feedback from educators and students to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the content. Qualifications: Education: Master's degree in Engineering/ Science, Commerce or Arts and OR Advanced degrees or coursework in education or instructional design will be a plus. Experience: Proven experience writing technical or educational content, preferably in alignment with university-level courses. A portfolio of relevant work is required. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering concepts and terminology. Familiarity with specific engineering disciplines covered in university syllabi is preferred. Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to present complex technical information in a clear, educational format. Tools: Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in aligning content with academic requirements. Preferred Skills: Experience with academic writing and instructional design. Familiarity with educational standards and best practices in curriculum development. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively. |
